The Day of Grace Golf Classic was founded last year (2004) by Matt and Bess Raulerson in honor of their daughter, Emma Grace, who was born with a rare chromosomal disorder called Trisomy 18. Emma only lived 13 days. Because this disorder is so rare, there is very little research about it. Matt and Bess founded this event in order to change the future for other families by funding research.
Last year they donated over $18,000.00, the proceeds from last years event, to Support Organization for Trisomy !3, 18 and Related Disorders for research. The organization has helped to fund current research. This year the proceeds will go to Support Organization for Trisomy !3, 18 and Related Disorders again and Noah’s Never Ending Rainbow another organization that supports families & children dealing with Trisomy disorders.
